Friday beaver night

We interupt the usual friday beaver post with the following photo post. To the honor of fellow blogger Pygalgia who posts boobie photos on friday (silly hobby we have here). The regular Friday beaver will return next week. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.

  1. I developed a fascination for Tits as a youngster the first time I saw and identified my first Tufted Tit. As I have not seen any Tufted Tits up here in Maine since settling here 29 years ago, I assume that unlike the Great Tits, they do not cope well with winter.

  4. Do the beaks of Great Tits grow a little in the cold? Or is that just a rumor?

  5. I also think tits are great.

A couple of years ago in SE Arizona, my wife and I saw the Bridled Titmouse, which has to be one of the cutest birds I've ever seen. Same goes with the bushtits, which we used to have when we lived in Washington's Puget Sound area.
