Blog remodel

Just ran into Robert Rouse of Left of Centrist over at Jim's at Average American Patriot who reported that he's back to bloging at his new digs freeze dried gray matter Robert always has something interesting over there and I especially like his videos. If he gets much better he just might become the new Monty Python. With any luck one of the networks could pick him up. Go pop over and experience that new bloggy smell.

Too bad I didn't keep up on my film skills from college or I'd give him a hand.

  2. I'm not trying to make apple jack but if it turns out okay I suppose that is what it will be. I'm going to distill it right away into apple brandy, I hope.

As I understand it you may have to distill it three times to get really good stuff.

I wouldn't bother to try making booze to burn in the truck, as you say, most likely too expensive, at least too time consuming, I think I could make it cheap enough, but I don't want to use up that much time.

Build a big digester though and it's not hard to run a small stationary engine on the methane produced.

To run a generator or something.

  3. Or use it for gas lights and cooking and such, it's all covered in my old copy's of Mother Earth News. No need to add second step of distilling it, just toss out what is in the bottom of the pot when it stops working in the garden, it's a good fertilizer.
