The late Friday beaver edition

I've been about as busy as this little guy the last few days and Blogger didn't help by being out of service. I knew something was going wrong when my moniker got changed on a blog post. Then I discovered a few minor glitches in another computer we have here at casa Demeur. After a bit of spring cleaning all seems to be going smoothly. If this is a Homeland Security ploy then you guys better be doing a better job of hiding your tracks. I could have tracked the source but won't waste my time doing that. And I must add that Macs are so much easier in dealing with such problems. I'll bet Windoze users spend more time fiddly farting with bugs than any other system. Well we all know what flies are drawn to don't we?

Bank fails later if I think about it.
Update: No bank fails this week.

"I knew something was going wrong when my moniker got changed on a blog post." That's exactly what happened to me too. I left a comment and my screen name morphed into Roadtripper81.

That was a screen name I used -- once -- at Trip Advisor almost 4 years ago. WTF??? I thought I had walked into a Twilight Zone episode or something.

I lost track of my posts. Some were doubled and dates changed so bear with me if something is duplicated. Those beave's are so cool to watch like that but boy do they raise hell.

One of my whole comment strings got lost. Good thing we're not paying for this shit, we don't buy Vega's anymore.

Tom 81? You sure are old for a road tripper.

Jim at least they got my mug shot right.

Billy does this mean I need to get rid of the Pinto?

Demeur, your put-down of Windows is a few years out of date and off target. People have their preferences for various reasons, which is understandable. But bugginess is rarity any more for Windows users, while steep prices and proprietary limitations remain central features of Apple computing.

So no one misses the AMC Gremlin, huh.

Demeur said...

SW if that were true then why is Microsoft loosing market share?

No Randal they traded their Gremlins in on a Yugo and you see where that got them.

If Windows is losing market share to Apple, it's undoubtedly because the Ipad is this year's trendy, must-have gadget of the college and yuppie set, a development aided by the fact that for an Apple product Ipads are relatively affordable.
