I'm keeping a good thought for you, Demeur. You're past due for a good break
Tom's idea could have merit, LOL, depending on what the prospective employer is like. Reminds me of a T-shirt I once saw. It had written on it something to the effect:
"I WORK FOR CHEAP"
and in smaller type:
"However, overcoming my whistleblower tendency costs extra."
Good Luck dude on the job hunt, actually Washington State isnt doing as bad as alot of other state's as far as business is concerned, at least according to stat's I read, but I know it's differnt than pie chart's when your out in the trenches actually looking. Beside's being a drug runner in my earliest year's part time (Texas/ Mexico, true story unfortunately)I had a trade in the printing/ graphic's art industry for year's as a pre- press specialist (another trade that unfortunately keened me to other illegal activities) doing paste up, color seperation's, proof reading and a foreman over a film and print department ... my last actual job working for someone/ company was in 2006 November, which after almost 3 year's I quit on my own. It was working inde for a group of restaraunte's/ nightclub's in Uptown Dallas' West Village, a 6pm to 2/4 am job as "security" wed thru sunday. I just turned 50 (I'm now 54), and figured it's just a matter of time before I get shot or something, due to the street activity and crime and intoxicated party goer's ... but must say it was one of the most interesting job's I have ever had (I got the job thru folk's that knew me and my unpopular record or past, because of some of what I "knew" I reckon, as some part time, that ended up permanent). I quit because I wanted to see about working for myself and see if it would be profitable, just for shit's and grin's .... the first year was hard ... I spent almost every dime I made on trying to keep it going, by the secong to third year, I was actually making almost 3 times the amount of money than working for someone else, then recently been just getting by, due to folk's cutting back more on spending, as well as having to eat a few thousand in losses due to someone who I was supplying that closed his store, and started selling merchandise only online, under a different company name, who basically stiffed me on what he owed me, since I would front him merchandise and he would pay me off after he sold (I was selling dvd's, cd's, and video game's wholesale to inde retailer's) ... But again guy ... my Best to you!

Good luck.
Demeur
You know I wish you luck.
Remember, bribery never hurts. Tell them that if they don't hire you, you'll be sending Weepy the Orange over for a visit.
Good luck.
Sorry Randal, bribery schmibery. The secret -- Blackmail.

Good Luck! You will find something better than running a jackhammer with persistence.
