Have a sick child and live in Texas? Too bad

One of the largest insurance companies in Texas is dumping child only policies. In short if you have a kid, live in Texas and he/she is under 19 and your employer doesn't cover the whole family then you're SOL.

Tough beans kids

Texas insurers United Healthcare, Aetna Inc. and Cigna Inc. are among the ones that will no longer offer policies just for individuals under 19.

They're almost as nihilistic as black metal, jr. in that photo.

Death to humanity!

Those uninsured children have already been born. They made it through the fetus stage; nothing else matters.

I know they are doing that and it is sick that they can get away with it. I refuse to believe they can not be held accountable. Time to pass a quick law and out those in Congress who come out against it. This is sick!

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke.

What could possibly go wrong?

Well unfortunately we can't take them all out and shoot them so...

Like Bill Clinton said recently, give the Democrats two more years to clean up this mess, and if they don't, too get rid of all of us.

The problem is finding someone to replace them with in such a stupid political system as this.

Thanx Demeur .... Texas can be a very cold blooded state ... as you may know, I came here as an outlaw, and had a pretty shady past here as well ... it is very much also a "survival of the fittest" state, my 3 daughter's do much better than I did, but I raised them as well, all 3 in Texas, and all with degree's and profession's. I grew up in place's like NY and LA. I do fairly decent here ... but only because I am not spit and polish rule book material ... and can be as crooked as those who have power, I learned long ago to fight fire with fire so to speak. What folk's can get away with here, you could never get away with in other of the major 4 state's (California, Texas, Florida, and New York) I know, I lived also in those 3 other state's. There's much I cant elaborate on in an open forum is all.

BBC ... Yes Sir ... that is accurate. :)

AP ... Yes Sir ... it is sick ... but the reality of the current condition. :)
