I hereby salute those brave shoppers who made the ultimate sacrifice for Wal-Mart, the economy and Jesus (in that order).

I'm glad I live in a town small enough that it's still civil for the most part.

I guess where you live they have security in many of the stores, but not here.

Only thing I bought today was a bottle of Brandy.

Well all I bought was a pack of smokes at a local mom and pop store.

It's good to see that Americans have finally stopped buying, pun intended, into the mantra of unbridled consumption.

I think what those incidents tell us is that some people are the products of a deficient upbringing. They're greedy, selfish, overaggressive and lack character and self-control.

Ones like the woman who sprayed her fellow shoppers with pepper spray over an xbox are nut cases, in addition to having serious behavior problems.

We save lots of money by "mainstreaming" and jailing our mental cases, instead of hospitalizing them until they show some benefit from definitive care. It works well, unless you get between one of the nuts and what she wants at a Black Friday sale. Then, our system is not so cheap.

I've been expecting gas to go up in price but it's been coming down some, whats with that?

I filled up yesterday for
$3.449 a gallon, with my ten cent Safeway discount.
