History is made!

I was sitting there watching the results. Obama had 207 to McCains 142 then the big flash on the screen Barack Obama our 44th president. Now to take a deep breath roll up your sleeves and get down to the business of fixing this country. And I know this will take the effort of each and every one of us.

I didn't watch, to me it was a given. Not going to be easy to fix this country.

We got sick and tired of the Republicans, and in four or eight years we will be sick and tired of the Democrats. Maybe then we can get an Independent of some sort in to give it a shot.

Right on, Demeur. It CAN be fixed, but it will take some time and effort. What a sight to behold, all those people cheering, crying, laughing! Let's hope our new guy has at least some of what it takes to get this country back on the right track. If all he does is actually uphold the Constitution it will represent a good start.

Just how much power do you people think a president has? Not that damn much.

I don't expect things to change much for the next year, other than to maybe get worse.

This country is full of people that think they are special and should be spoiled, yeah, lets how it is in a year.

I like the man but I'm not blowing soap bubbles yet.

Hey Billy - How much power does the president have?
Consider the monkey we have in the white house right now. He's ripped up the constitution, got us into two wars and bankrupted this nation all in less than 8 years. If that ain't power I don't know what is.
