Random things

The facination with Sarah Palin continues but at least now the left can capitalize on her notarity with a new book out. The Nation writers sure did a nice job of parity at least what I can see by the cover.

John McCain wants to slow up free speech by preventing net neutrality It's called the first ammendment John
This from a guy who admits to knowing nothing about the internet. Even one of the creators of the net is against this bill.
Time to snatch the remote from grandpa and have him retire.

What is with all these tiny little banks? Ukraine has them too. Canada had five banks for most of my life and none ever went broke. Nor did any credit unions that I know of. Any new banks are all international that don't do much in the way of consumer business.

BF - Even the small banks got smashed when housing took a hit. The U.S. lost 40% of its' home equity, then when the layoffs started people were upside down in their mortgages. So as you can see it didn't matter if a bank followed the rules at the time or not. Housing prices were way overinflated.

Good thing I barely have any money in the bank. The joke's on you, rich bastards!

I actually used that same Palin Joke in a Photoshop project a few weeks ago. Albeit, in a slightly different manner.

Having medium-size and small banks fail is perfectly in keeping with the Reagan and Bush/neocon approach to ruling and economic mismanagement. You reward the rich for being rich (and maybe ruthless as well), and you punish the rest for not being rich (and maybe ruthless as well).

Small and medium community banks just get in the big boys' way. Better to drive them to the edge, then let the big banks buy them out at distress prices. Or, if they're in really bad shape, let the taxpayers take care of the losses. Meanwhile, those same taxpayers get to bail out the rich and too big to fail megabanks.

There's not a pit in hell deep enough or hot enough for the people in and out of government who screwed the rest of us this way. George W. should be giving his motivational talk to fellow inmates in a federal prison — so they won't misunderestimate him.

Sarah Palin the short term Alaska Governor who abandoned her post where she saw Russia from her house had someone write a book about her lies and idiocy titled Going Rogue.

4 months after abandoning her people! At the same time her book is coming out, the parody comic book version is coming out titled "Going Rouge"

I have to laugh I don't think she can even read. Knowing the class of people that follow her I have to wonder if they know the difference between Rouge and Rogue and will buy the right one!

which one do you think will sell better? The comic book should far outsell Palings book of lies. If not it will only be because Oprah is going to interview her and promote the book. I predict another Oprah book scandal!

Average Patriot, Palin's book will probably sell more because right-wing interests will buy tons of copies to boost it on the N.Y. Times bestsellers list. They do that for their faves. An appearance with Oprah is sure to help.

If you need doorstop, see a conservative near you. It's quite possible they'll have one to give you.
