And now the health care bill moves to the senate

Where if you thought the first act of the circus was something then you ain't seen nothin yet. With billions (make that trillions) of dollars in profits at stake the insurance industry which has been shoveling greenbacks at our senators will now resort to using dump trucks fulll of loot. They did after all make some 146 billion in profits. A few million doled out here or there won't make much difference at this point. And like Let's Make a Deal the comittee making up this hodge podge of legislation will have the choice of what's in the large bulging envelope or what's behind the curtain which just might be... Why yes... it's the senators' entire voting district ready to tar and feather them for taking the envelope and leaving them with no health care! But don't worry too much senators because you also get what's behind the door, a book deal while you wait to get into your very own lobbying business set up by your insurance buds.

Let's hope we can get an up or down vote. I still don't understand why the Dems don't force the Thugs to filibuster. The rest of the nation could watch Jeff Sessions and Joy LIEberman waste valuable business time fighting against the good of the people. I'd pay to watch the circus.

Great choice for a pic,

Bunch of fuckin clowns can't find their asses with both hands, but they know the votin public has a memory about as long as the line of fuckin bankers que'in up to serve turkey dinner at the mission on Thanksgiving Day. Sadly, 250 lunatic teabaggers drooling in the halls of congress is more intimidatin than the surveys that tell em 70% of Americans are sick of this shit and want a health care bill with a good public option.

WASHINGTON – The glow from a health care triumph faded quickly for President Barack Obama on Sunday as Democrats realized the bill they fought so hard to pass in the House has nowhere to go in the Senate. ….

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha….. These monkeys %&#?@$ crack me up

It was a piece of shit plan anyway, if we can't have the same plan they have we are second class to them.

This Senate battle should be interesting. IMHO it's crucial that a health reform bill -- whatever its final form is -- get passed and sent to Obama before the end of the year.

As much as I'm in favor of the public option, a bill without it is better than no bill. (I hope I don't make too many enemies by saying that.)

We can't let this bill get derailed. It's been almost 60 years since health care reform has had this much momentum, and it might be another 60 years if it doesn't happen now.

That razor thin majority vote in the House indicates that a whole lot of compromising and wheeling and dealing will be required to get a bill passed in the more conservative Senate.

Health care reform, or any kind of reform, should happen in little steps instead of, oh hell, never mind.
