As promised a list of Blue Dog democrats

Rep. Barrow
Rep. Gordon
Rep. Hill
Rep. Matheson
Rep. Melancon
Rep. Ross
Rep. Space

And if you want to get an idea about what this bill would mean for the folks in these guys districts pop over to Tin Foil Hats Unite and click on the links NorthCountry Liberal has there.

Foil Hats Unite

If you live in one of these districts I hope you'll keep track of how they vote and remember it the next election cycle. When they vote against this consider that you pay for their coverage (some of the best in the country) while you'll get nothing. Nothing like saying "I've got mine to hell with you"!

Thanks for the leg work NCL.

I used to actually work for the democrats in my Indiana town, beating the streets and talking the good talk to get democrats elected. Now I realize that no matter WHO gets elected, there's always the time when they put the screws in and turn on the drill. But what we're stuck with now is more like a loose cannon on speed.

Republicans I've found tend to screw us over totally and have the interests of their rich friends ahead of the rest of us working guys. At least with Democrats we get thrown some scraps from the table.
If Obama can't fix the problems we now face then we're all screwed because the only solution the republicans have is to lower taxes and we've seen how well that worked in California didn't we.

Demeur - Even the scraps from the table are drying up. The Fed. chairman is putting middle-class tax increases on the table, the banks we bailed out of talking bonus again. The same bubble is being inflated, the next time it will not go pop, just BANG.

You missed the exact quote Holte. What was said was it was not out of the question. If we all get a benefit from it then what's wrong with that? And you may have forgotten that Obama lowered taxes with the stimilus package for 95% of Americans and that was the middle class.
Also those bonuses are set to get changed by changing the rules for shareholders.

So again it sounds more like MSM trying to rile up masses and you know who runs MSM. How do you defeat an enemy group? Divide and conquer. Once you get the doubting and fighting amongst themselves you've won. So stop to consider and analyze the situation before you jump to conclusions.

Demeur - Correct we did get $60 a month tax relief from the stimulus, then our health insurance was pushed up $75 month plus a 2 week furlough. The MSM didn't have to rile me up at all, I got riled up all on my own. If they have to raise taxes, so be it, I still trust Obama, if he screws up, it will still be a massive improvement on the last joker.

Thanks for that link. We definitely need to zero in on those Blue Dogs. We don't have a billion dollars to give them, like the health insurance lobbies. But thousands of bloggers can put them in the spotlight and make things difficult.

Quite true Tom. I hear the insurance big boys are spending something like $1 million a day to try and stop this. That's unheard of in an off election year. Considering they just reported a profit of $146 billion I think they could afford to bribe anybody they wanted.

In a few more years we can hate the Democrats as much as we hate the Repucks.

I could run this country better than any of them. The monkeys wouldn't like some of the things I changed but that's tough shit, long haul it would be a better system.
