It gives me great pleasure to announce that Democrat Patty Murray has defeated Dino Rossi for the U.S. senate seat from Washington state. This will make the third time Rossi has lost in just the last few years. Defeated twice in races for governor by Christine Gregoire and now by Murray.

I am sad to see dino lose, we need a new senator, and a new government and regardless wether he won or lost, us repubs still took over the house and thats all that matters. Sorry that you don't have morals and voted for the demoncrat patty murray.

There's an old saying, "nice guys finish last." It doesn't apply here.
I read in today's paper that the state-funded ombudsman office that conducts oversight of about 60 percent of care centers and homes for the elderly is losing all its federal funding. That money is critical to keeping it in operation.
The ombudsman personnel and volunteers they recruit, organize and train work to prevent neglect, abuse and other problems for a bunch of extremely vulnerable people near the end of life. The federal funding was only a couple hundred thousand a year, as I recall.
What's this got to do with Rossi? I'd be willing to bet that if all the money Rossi has squandered on mean-spirited, dishonest attack ads against his various opponents over the last several years was put into that ombudsman program, it would be able to monitor 100 percent of facilities for 15-20 years.

As somebody at the Port Angeles daily newspaper website said, Rossi always runs against a woman and he always loses by 100 votes.
Dino needs a steaming hot cup of STFU. Let him go with the Tea Baggers. He likes that sort of thing. Republitards, by the way- be gentle with them. Its not like its a lifestyle choice [as is say height or sexual preference]- they are born that way.

Murray has been a great senator for the state of WA, and Dino is simply dangerous. I hope this ends his "political career". If God could vote, he'd vote for Patty Murray. Simple as that.
