More scary than...

What ever happened to the days of working all day partying all night grabing a couple of hours sleep then doing it again because we thought it was such fun? Even a few years ago I could make it through a long shift and still maintain the energy for a home project or two. Must I resign myself to looking like this dude? Or worse sitting in a wheel chair in some nursing home mouth draped open staring into space. I guess there are zombies amongst us. Not to worry they're harmless unless you give them the remote.

And what was the cause of all this you might ask?

And like a grave digger I managed to dig a hole four feet down and about three feet across exposing our broken water main. At which point the old bod said "knock that stuff off or I'm really going to hurt you". There was a time when said body would recoup over night. No so with this ole bod. So at that point I called in reinforcments, a back hoe and a couple of workers half my age. Wouldn't want to land up like the photo above now would I? But then seeing as how the vision is going I just might look like that and not know it.

What I hate is when I wake up sore and didn't do much of anything the previous day except lay on the couch. That's scary...

Well, I fucking got older, and grew up, a little.

I can still dig a hole like that and my body will still come back fast enough but I don't know why the way I treat it.

Good luck with fixing the leak.

Don't go breaking no glass, the zombies in the government buildings that lord over us frown on that shit.
