Republican Nazis

For anyone who thinks Ahhrnold is a compassionate conservative think again. With Calefornia facing massive budget shortfalls the governators fix is to throw 930,000 low income children off medical assistance. Don't you just love republican thinking? Your safe if you're still in the womb but once you're out it's so long Charlie, you're on your own.
He's also talking about borrowing money from cities. Like they're not broke as well. All because some republican years back decided to slash taxes. Even Reagan wasn't that dumb when he was governor. Ronnie raised taxes then got the hairbrained idea to cut taxes. We'll shrink government to a size you could drownd in a bathtub. It only worked back then because there were programs to cut. When Dumbyu got in he lowered taxes on the wealthy cut what was left of the safety nets that Ronnie hadn't trashed and spent like a drunkin sailor of two wars.
And even to this day that is their only solution. We'll cut taxes we'll cut taxes is their credo. What will be left? We'll cut taxes on the plywood and nails you'll be buying to board up your business.

Back here in Georgia, our glorious leaders are slashing everything, except themselves. Education is a particular favorite for them to cut, they seem quite proud of being ranked alongside Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina at the bottom of pile. South Carolina even refused the stimulus money for a while. We all know how wise Gov. Mark Sanford is. Taxes should be raised and money flooded into education, it's our only hope.

Have to say, I really agreed with your comment on James' blog re Iran!
Sad, but unfortunetly true.

I also don't really get their logic behind privatizing and taxes...

The only thing I can say, them taking health care away, might cause fewer deaths, since the health care system is anyway corrupted and not too much use... really, really sad!

One should be able to rely on help and help should in fact help people and not harm them in a covert way instead!

Actually I don't think taxes need to be raised at all. We could cut them in half and get much better service, if only we would nail the corrupt fuckers and throw them out!
there is more than enough money to go around, it just has to support the right and uncorrupted causes.

the health sector doesn't need more money. It needs fewer corrupt companies making huge profits on the aveage citizen!

here's something which might intererst you:

Thanks for stopping by Holte I've put a link in the post above. Just love the Aunt Dixie thing. How did you land up in south Georgia?

Sarah - We know that won't happen. Wherever there's power and money corruption is sure to follow.

It boggles my mind when I recall how at one time California had one of the best education systems in the world, even making college possible for any high school graduate who wanted to attend.

Cutting off medical help for all those children is a bizarre response to the fiscal crisis. I'm not familiar enough with California's finances to know what a better move would be, but I'm pretty sure there is one.

Yeah, you're right, it's not likely to happen... still we can't raise taxes, just for them to get even richer on deceiving us!

Kind of reminds me of aid organizations... there the money isn't either all too well spent, to say the least. Alright the refugees may be the hostages there and in your case mentioned, it is the children... not fair at all, but one can't keep supporting corruption, one has to demand justice and start supporting only those with clean hands.

I do that in daily life and it works.
